SPARK a Change – Stepathon 2017

Written by Justine Hall
This year Swinburne Golden Key participated in the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute 2017 Stepathon. During Monday 6th to Sunday 12th March our Swinburne Golden Key Team members Justine Hall (Vice-President), Kylie Goatley (Treasurer) and Kevin Tuyau (President) completed 278,604 steps and so far have raised $518.64.
The challenge of the Stepathon was to complete 100,000 steps while fundraising for the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI). Money raised will help researchers at the Institute find preventions and cures for children’s diseases and illnesses including cancer, rare and genetic diseases, autism, allergies, obesity and diabetes.
You can still help us with fundraising until 30th April...making a positive difference to the lives of ill children.

Money raised by each team member (as of 30/3/17)
