The annual Academic Breakfast of Golden Key Society was held on the 3 rd of July 2018 at Café Blac, which is located in Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn. This was the first event that was organised by the 2018 committee and it turned out to be a great success. Written by Deyna Yohana (Social Officer) and Alyssa Pascual (Newsletter Editor) Golden Key Swinburne Chapter hosted a very colourful O-week stall, full of photos and posters, on the 24 th and 25 th of July to introduce Golden Key Society and raise awareness of our goals and visions to the new Swinburne students arriving for Semester Two. In addition, it was a chance to meet and build relationships with existing members and promote events such as the Hot Chocolate networking event happening later that month, along with the upcoming Intellectual Engagement Speaker Event and Victorian Alliance Ball. Prior to the event, the committee came together in their monthly meetings to brainstorm and contribute ideas around enjoyable activities for students and making it an approachable, friendly and interactive stall. We had a Spin the Wheel game with prizes such as lollipops, redskins, GK pens, GK notepads, fidget spinners, free hot chocolates and a challenge to win a $1
