Academic Breakfast 2018
The annual Academic Breakfast of Golden Key Society was held on the 3rd of July 2018 at Café Blac, which is located in Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn. This was the first event that was organised by the 2018 committee and it turned out to be a great success. The main determination of the Academic Breakfast is to network with the members and to inform about the great community services that the chapter is involved in.
It was a pleasure to meet the invited Golden Key honorary members of the Swinburne Chapter and network with most of the Academics who’s been involved with the Chapter. The most prominent of the guests being Swinburne Vice Chancellor, Linda Kristjanson and Ernst & Young Partner, Terence Jeyaretnam.
The event was opened by Enuri, our Academic Officer of the committee and handed the rest of the event to the President of the Chapter, Philip. He mentioned about the history of Golden Key, important stats and events that our chapter has held and the achievements of the previous years.
After the brief
introduction of the Swinburne Chapter of Golden Key by the President, the
scrumptious pre-ordered breakfast was served on the table.
As this being the first event organised by the new chapter committee, it turned out a success and everyone seemed to have enjoyed themselves on the day. The event ran beautifully as our Academic Officer, Enuri had organised and booked the event to ensure it ran smoothly. If you are interested in attending the next Academic Breakfast, please contact us to learn about the ways in which you can be involved with the committee.
